The Coming of the Son of Man

In this passage we see that the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, will return to this earth in great power and glory, and he will gather the elect people of God from around the four corners of the globe. Disturbances in the heavens will precede his coming. The exact time, however, of Christ's appearing are known only to the Father, but our responsibility is to stay alert and watchful and look for his coming, which could be at any time.
