Tears From The Eyes Of The King!

Luke 19:41-44 ushers us closer to the heart of Jesus as it relates to the lost. In His last week, Jesus makes His way to the Holy City of Jerusalem sitting on a Donkey. The crowd receives Him with expectant joy by spreading robes and leafy palm branches in his pathway to create a royal red carpet. When some of the Pharisees instruct Jesus to rebuke the people to avoid a political insurrection, Jesus refuses. Jesus' actions this Sunday sets in motion a series of events that would lead to his brutal death.

But what should get our attention are the tears He sheds as He approaches the city. His tears speak louder than the actions of the crowd. His tears express the value of our souls!
