Systematic Theology - The Doctrine of Scripture - The Sufficiency of Scripture. The Scripture available to humanity at each point through history has been sufficient revelation for that time and place. Now that we have the "whole" Bible, there is no need for new revelation. In fact, any new extra-Biblical revelation is at best unnecessary and at worst error and heresy because to accept new revelation is to deny the sufficiency of Scripture. So what do we do if the Bible does not address a specific question or topic?
