An account of how an OT King removed God's designed and appointed altar to replace it with one of pagan design. Looking at how evangelicalism has undergone fundermental change.

1 The doctrine of the cross.

The old altar was designed by God, appointed by God and was Christ centred. The new altar from from the mind of fallen man. It appealed to the senses rather than the soul.

2 The demands of the cross - to repent and give our all. The new altar made no demands.
