The Lord Has Led Me in the Way

Abraham has commanded his trusted servant to find a wife for Isaac. She must be from among Abraham's kin, and she must be willing to journey to the land of promise. The servant trusts in the providential hand of God and his covenant faithfulness to Abraham. He prays - not for an extraordinary sign, but an extraordinary woman - to take Sarah's place in Abraham's family. Will he find her? The Lord begins to answer his prayer - beyond what he asks - even before he finishes praying.
