The Earthquake That Shook the World

In Matthew 28:2 we find that in direct conjunction with the descent of an angel of the Lord and the rolling away of the stone which had sealed the tomb of Jesus there was a “violent earthquake”! And because that earthquake which occurred on that first Resurrection morning was not simply exceedingly significant in and of itself, but also because it should remind us of a previous earthquake in the recent past and also of another earthquake which the Sacred Scriptures promise will surely come in the future ... I have termed this particular earthquake which is spoken of in the words of our text as “The Earthquake That Shook the World!”
