The Holy Trinity

Aim: To better understand the roles of the three Persons of the Holy Trinity.

Exegesis: The Son redeems us. Christ has the power to represent (v. 9) and save (v. 10) His church. The Father anoints us. God's word gives us full assurance (v. 11a); God's gift gives us full blessing (v. 11b); God's satisfaction gives us full life (v. 11c). The Holy Spirit sanctifies us. The church must be taught (v. 12), tried (v. 13a), and tended to (v. 13b).
