God's Word Fulfilled in Samaria

In the conclusion to the siege of Samaria we note how God's Word is always fulfilled - not a word shall fall to the ground.

1. The Miracle Announced.

   • the source of it.
   • a miracle of salvation.
   • a message scorned.

2. The Actions of the lepers.

   • positionally - picture of the sinner, outcast, facing (eternal) death - need to get to the bread of Life.

   • their proclamation.

3. The Deliverance of the Lord.

   • flight of the Syrians.
   • fulfillment of the scriptures.
   • fatality of the scorner.

Gods word is fulfilled both in mercy and in judgement!
