Don't Forsake the House of God Pt.1

As part of Israel's restoration to their land from their Babylonian captivity, there was the necessity of the restoration of Biblical worship. This was done under the leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah. In Neh.8 you have the reading of the was by Ezra, in Neh.9 there is Israel's repentance and in Neh.10 their making of a covenant in which they vowed to do certain things to preserve their Biblical worship. It is the same kind of issues that Christians must deal with today. The first was a vow that they would keep the Word of God.
