Lying Vanities

The credibility of Jonah is an offense and a stumbling block to the skeptic. But the evidence of the real historical Jonah is exactly in keeping with the way God challenges the faith of each one of us from the creation account to the empty tomb. And He makes no apologies when He tells us the truth. Lying vanities abound, but only the Lord Jesus, who would be in the belly of the earth 3 days as Jonah historically represents, can truly save to the uttermost.
