Sermon Series Title: Restoring the Future

Brief Overview of Series: The title of this 12-sermon series, Restoring the Future, has been chosen to highlight the fact that the prophetic future, as proclaimed in the Great Awakening (c. 1730–1850), was very different from the eschatology that is popular today. This series restores for Christians today the biblical view of the victorious King Jesus reigning at God’s right hand until His enemies are made His footstool.

Brief Overview of Sermon 4: This lesson explores the different factors that must be understood before an accurate interpretation of Revelation is possible: To whom the book is addressed, the mode of revelation, the chronological scheme of the visions, the groups of Sevens indicating the complete story of the “last days,” etc.
