With Hands Raised

When we are seeking to do God's will, there are times when people will attack. When the Amalekites fought against the Israelites, they were actually fighting against God. It was God that the Amalekites were fighting against. Raising hands in Church is not only in the Old Testament it is also in the New Testament. In 1 Timothy chapter 2 verse 8 the scripture proclaims that everyone should lift up hands in prayer. God promises salvation to His children and destruction to His enemies. Moses could not do what God told him to do on his own. God does not need any help, but He chooses to work through the obedience of others who need the help of others in order to do what God has told them to do.
