In today’s world Christianity is under attack from many angles.

Every faithful Christian will experience some type of Persecution 2 Tim 3:12.

Today if you are a godly disciple of Jesus and you want to win the lost then you can expect persecution.

If you study the History of the Church you find persecution happening almost immediately after the Churches beginning.
Soon after Pentecost the believers in Jesus Christ were persecuted for their faith.

Peter and John went up to the Temple in Acts chapter 3, there they met a man who was crippled.

Peter reaches out to him and the crippled man receives healing.

The Lame man gave glory to God because of his healing.

The healing of the Lame Man gave Peter the opportunity to preach to the people.

Peter’s preaching brought persecution.
There is a Word that is repeated in Acts 4 and that is the Word Boldness.

In the face of Opposition Peter and the disciples of Christ displayed boldness.

a. In Acts 4.13 The Boldness of Peter and John was visible.

Acts 4:13 NKJV Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

b. In Acts 4.29 God’s people, the Church knew that boldness was vital.

Acts 4:29 NKJV Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus."

c. In Acts 4.31 God’s people, were vocal….

(..they spoke the Word of God with boldness
