Amalek

This ia an account of the attack Amalek made upon the Children of Israel in the Wilderness of Sinai. In Deuteronomy 25:17-18 it is recorded that Amalek attacked the rear of the column where the stragglers were, the feeble, the faint and the weary. Amalek is a type of Satan because Satan uses the same tactics. As long as Moses, with the help of Aaron and Hur, held up the sceptre of God, Israel prevailed. When Moses arms lowered because of weariness, Amalek prevailed. This should be an object lesson to the people of God. The Pastor should not have to shoulder the burden alone. The other less on to be learned is that we can only overcome by the power of God and that unrelenting war must be waged against Satan
