There are many Bible doctrines that pastors & teachers rarely if ever talk about because of their unpopularity which then causes them to have a deep fear of rejection by their listeners (which could also cause a drop in donations to their ministries). 'Politically correct' theology many times replaces straightforward Bible teaching that may 'rock the boat' in many congregations. Pastors & teachers many times will 'avoid' plain Bible teachings to avoid 'problems' that these teachings might cause. However, Larry Wessels & Bob Ross are not concerned with this as the truth of God's word (Acts 20:27) is more important than only prophesying doctrines that people are comfortable with (Isaiah 30:9-11).

Topics in episode #12: Unpopular Bible Doctrine #53 - God promises His people a 'furnace of affliction,' namely suffering in this life. UPD #54 - Jesus does not pray for everyone. UBD #55 - God commands His people to defend the Christian faith against the false teachings of false prophets.
