God's Word Is Not Bound

Proposition: Though Christ’s representatives may be bound with chains by worldly powers, yet He is still “going forth conquering and to conquer” (Rev. 6:2). And we who are called by His name are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Just as the Apostle Paul was persuaded that nothing “shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:39), so we are persuaded the nothing can or will prevent Christ’s total and complete victory over all His and our enemies.
