Ezra; Praying and Fasting for the journey ahead

There is a long and dangerous journey ahead for Ezra and his companions. But before they embark, he will instruct the people to give themselves to prayer and fasting. He did not want to presume upon God, nor trust in the arm of flesh. So they beseech God for safe travels, and for Divine favor on their trip.
