Generosity for Jealousy

As the church carries out the task of making known the message concerning Jesus (what he taught and did, and what that reveals about who he is), they meet obstacles. The most prominent in the book of Acts is the opposition coming from the Jews, or to be more precise, the Jewish leaders. Several reasons for the vehemence of their opposition can be detected but the most explicitly stated is jealousy. This message offers a contemporary application and, based upon the response of the church in the book of Acts, calls for generosity in the face of jealousy.
