The Lord has sent people into our lives that they might be hewers of stone knocking off the rough edges. Things happen in life that the Lord is using to shape us. When we are not as square as we should be the Lord has a plan. God knows what we need to be that square stone. All we have to do is to be willing to be placed where the Lord would have us.
