0 Years Ago Today I Bowed My Head To Receive Jesus Christ My Saviour

Tomorrow is my earthly birthday, and it's one of those 'milestone' type of deals that people get excited about, but today is my heavenly birthday and there is nothing more exciting than that. March 14th, 1991, at right around a minute to midnight I got on my knees in front of a King James Bible from the Gideons that my dad had 'borrowed' from a hotel room many years earlier, and claiming the promise of John 3:16, I asked Jesus Christ to saved my soul for all eternity.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, I am sharing my testimony of salvation in Jesus Christ, along with reflections on the most amazing journey I ever have, or ever will, embark upon. 30 years ago, I took Jesus at His word of His promise to save me, and He has graciously dealt with me 'exceeding abundantly' above and beyond anything I could ask or think. Tonight we are going to have a good, old-fashioned Camp Meeting, sing the songs of Zion, and maybe even take a shot at 'running the bases' as we rejoice in our salvation that will last not for a million years, but for all eternity. Maybe you've been saved a while, and your 'first love' has grown a little cold. Join us tonight as we reignite our revival fires, and lift up Jesus of Nazareth.
