Rejected Kindness

David had a loving spirit and now offers kindness to Hanan for the sake of Hanan's father. It is rejected. We learn much in this chapter about reaching out to those outside the covenant and also about the Lord's kindness to His people. The Lord through His Sovereign Grace changes hearts as he did that of Saul. We are challenged in many ways including a challenge to those outside of the faith that today may be the day the scales fall from your eyes.
