Debate 4 of 4: Does Early Church History & Scripture Prove the Trinity?

432 ( 413 | 19 )

Oneness Pentecostal adherent Steven Ritchie debates Trinitarian & Director of Research for Christian Answers Steve Morrison, Ph.D. (webmaster of www.Biblequery.org, www.HistoryCart.com, & www.MuslimHope.com) on whether the historic Christian concept of God is true or false as the Athanasian Creed states, "We worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the persons, nor dividing the substance. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is all one; the glory equal, the majesty coeternal ... He therefore that will be saved must thus think of the Trinity." Ritchie attacks the Trinity with arguments used by Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, Mormons, particularly the biblical doctrine of the eternal Sonship of God - that Jesus Christ has always eternally existed as the Son of God (Hebrews 7:3, Matthew 28:19). Larry Wessels, director of Christian Answers of Austin, Texas/ Christian Debater (YouTube channel: CANSWERSTV at https://www.youtube.com/user/CAnswersTV) is the moderator for this debate. This is part four of a four hour debate.
