The Ministry of the New Covenant

The ministry of the New Covenant is in effect today as the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On the basis of the salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ and His sacrifice it is a ministry of greater glory than that of the Old Covenant, the Mosaic Law. The responsibility of those entrusted with this ministry of glory is to give out the message of the Gospel truthfully, straightforward, and completely. Through the clear proclamation of this truth the Spirit of God works through the Word of God to accomplish His perfect will in the lives of the hearers. Through the proclamation of the Gospel the glory of the New Covenant, established by Christ, is then a growing, increasing glory for the believer. This glory will culminate in God's presence when the believer is fully clothed with their resurrected, glorified body.
