The Life of God in the Soul of Man

In this final section of the "high priestly prayer," in John 17, our Lord prays for specific things to be manifested through His disciples. He is revealing to them what it means to have the life of God in the soul of man. He prays His will for their lives and what He plans to do with them and how He will do it. It was a very enlightening prayer for His disciples listening in. Here in these verses, Jesus first explains who He is praying for (v20), and then, in the following verses, what happens to them when they have the life of God in their souls. There are five specific things He desires to do with them.
