The Lord Jesus appears a third time to His Disciples (1)

Greetings Brethren,

In the last chapter of John's Gospel we read of a third appearance of the risen Lord Jesus to His disciples. As this chapter unfolds, we read of the life and ministry of Jesus on earth being completed and concluded, even as it gives way to the onset of the life and ministry of His disciples to the world.[1] And so, although this chapter concludes the account of the Fourth Gospel, the story of the Fourth Gospel continues on in that the Lord calls and recommissions His disciples for their mission to declare the gospel of salvation to the world.
