The Parable of the Candle

Every believer is called on to witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. We must let our light shine before others.

1. WE MUST LET OUR LIGHT SHINE.
   “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world” (John 1:9).

2. EVERYTHING WILL EVENTUALLY COME TO LIGHT (4:22).
   Our Lord said in Matthew 12:36, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

3. TAKE HEED WHAT YE HEAR.
   Mark 4:24-25 "And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

John 8:12 says, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
