Put on the Girdle of Truth. The girdle is the first piece of armor put on and serves as the foundation of the protection. For us as Christians, this is Truth. The devil always battles with the lie and attempting to cover the Truth. As Christians, we must be conscientious of this and protect the Truth, both in preserving it and also in taking care to know God's Truth given to us in His Word.
