The Son Who Pleased the Father

Here we continue our verse-by-verse look at the Gospel of Luke. This time we study the baptism of Jesus, and the genealogy that Luke recorded. In this we will see why Jesus was baptized, what happened when He prayed, and why Luke included Jesus' lineage in his Gospel. Through this study we will see that Jesus came as the Messiah for the nation of Israel, and that He came for all of mankind.
