The Sovereignty of God in Salvation

The sovereignty of God is at the heart of the doctrines of grace. In the Lord's statement in v. 2 that "to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life," the Lord Jesus uses a verb that declares that God has already chosen whom He will save.
