Strength Renewed

Do you realize that only the diligent grow weary and faint? This verse is not written to the slothful. God takes great delight in giving power to the faint, and He lets us get that way at times to show us how needy we are of His sustaining grace. "When darkness veils his lovely face, I rest on his unchanging grace." The trials which God takes us through teach us to go to the scriptures for strength and encouragement. May we know, not only the promises of God found in the scriptures, but the consolation afforded to us in those promises!
