Prohibition Against Partiality pt 2

If we love our neighbor we are doing well. But if we show partiality, we are sinning and have been convicted by the law as transgressors. We cannot chose which “parts” of God’s law to obey. He who stumbles in just one point has become guilty of all. Speak and act as those who will be judged by the law. A lack of mercy towards others may indicate that you know nothing of God’s mercy towards sinners. Understand that mercy triumphs over judgment.
