We are Not Promised an Easy Life

The Bible promises many things to a believer, but one thing that is not promised to a believer is an easy life, with no problems or difficulties. Here we learn of the Apostle Paul's own experience, with situations of troubles and persecutions; partings and sad farewells from people in the churches he had planted, and his own commitment and determination to fulfil the personal calling that God had given to him. Indeed he famously said "I do not count my life dear unto myself". How is your commitment to the cause of Christ? Are you prepared to endure to the end?
