Romans 13:13-14

Put on The Lord Jesus Christ!
Last Week:
Main Idea: Wake up, beloved Christians!
Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep (11a)
For salvation is nearer to us now that when we first believed. (11b)
The night is far gone; the day is at hand. (12a)
So then, let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light (12b)
This Week:
Main Idea: Put on the Lord Jesus Christ!
Let us walk properly as in the daytime (13)
Not in orgies and drunkenness,
Not in sexual immorality and sensuality
Not in quarreling and jealousy
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, (14a)
and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. (14b)
Applications
Think eschatologically (with a future view!)
Examine the strategic direction of your life!
Evaluate your treasuring of Christ—do you love Him?
Is sexual sin gripping your life?
Put on the Lord Jesus Christ!
HOW CAN WE DO THIS?
