Doctrines to Die For Part 1 “The Word Of God!”
I Text: Old Covenant: (Genesis 1:1-5)
New Covenant: (John 1:1-5)

II Doctrine: The supreme power in this creation and outside this creation is the Word of God. The living God can speak matter and principles into existence ex-nihilo. God can do all things except contradict his own righteous character, which he reveals in Scripture.

III Reasons:

1. The living God created and defined this reality we live in. (Romans 1:18-20)
2. The word of Man can never replace the word of God, destruction is the result. (Romans 1:21-31)

IV Application:

1. Christians must regain the Biblical faith of old which stood on the Word of God and not the opinions of Men. (1689 Baptist Confession Chapter One)
2. America needs to be humble again before it can be great again. The American Church must stop blaspheming the living God by teaching the doctrines of Men. (2 Timothy 3:10-17)
