Jesus Corrects Lax Views on Divorce and Remarriage

Jesus rescues the misapplication of God's Law placed upon Deuteronomy 24. Instead of giving license to divorce, the Law restricted it and protected it from abuse. Christ upholds the Law's teaching on the inviolability and permanence of marriage when He corrected relaxed views on divorce and remarriage thereby confirming the sanctity of marriage.
