Unity Is A Matter Of Priority

Paul, in the previous two verses, recognizes that we are called with a special calling, and that such a calling must have an effect upon our character, namely lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, and a loving forbearance.. Having stated these, one combined fruit of these Christian character traits is the Unity of the Spirit in the Bond of Peace:
