The Woman With the Issue of Blood

In our scripture reading tonight we find a cure obtained without a word being spoken beforehand. As Jesus proceeds to Jarius' house He finds another merciful work to do on the way to his house. This woman was probably a resident of the Capernaum area who had wandered throughout Galilee seeking a relief from her plague. This desperate soul takes seemingly unreasonable step to achieve a healing for body, she had faith that Jesus would touch her but she feared to speak to Him.
