Jesus the Messiah: Son of Man, Son of God

Where are you from? What's your family history? What gives you your identity? Your answer to those sorts of questions will give some idea of who you are—the kind of things that shape you as a person.

The account of Jesus' baptism and genealogy in Luke 3 gives us some answers to those questions about Jesus. It tells us where Jesus is from, his family history, and what gives him his identity.

Main point: It's who Jesus is that determines who you are.
