The Passover Lamb

A lamb is at the centre of God's program for His people to worship him in liberty and freedom.
That runs from Genesis to Revelation - From Abel who brought a lamb offering in his worship - to the Lamb that is worshipped in glory.

This history is not mistake or coincidence - it was appointed lamb - this was to be type of the great sacrifice of the Lamb of God. Here is the gospel unfolding in clearer terms than ever before and was a picture of Calvary.

Therefore, there were divine instructions given about this lamb. I want you to notice that this was not man's idea. It was Moses plan. The Lord gave special instructions to Moses, which he was to relay to the people.
So this was a divinely appointed lamb.
In keeping with the history of redemption and with God's future plan of Redemption at Calvary God instructed Moses about this Passover lamb.
In this meeting we are going to look at these special instructions.
We may have time for six of them.
These are instructions that every one of us should take to heart as much as these Israelites, for the refer to our Lamb, the Lord Jesus.
