An Eye for An Eye???

Enemies. We all have them. They hurt and injure us. "You have rights" is the cry of the American culture, "Don't let others walk all over you!" is another. Revenge, exacting a pound of flesh. "Make them pay!"...So easy to fall into this mindset, to justify getting even. However, it is not what the Lord wants of His people. Vengeance is the Lord's. The government, at His direction, is obligated to make the punishment fit the crime. The Christian individual is NOT to take matters in his own hands, but instead is to respond to hurt with love...like his Savior!
