The Plagues Continued
Exodus 9:1-35
INTRODUCTION: God continued to show His power through the plagues on Egypt. Yet, people were still slow to listen to God’s word. By plague seven (the hail), some of the Egyptians started to believe the truth of the word of God (see Exodus 9:19-20).

1. The sixth plague (boils) caused the worst physical pain on man of all the plagues.

1. The number seven is often associated a perfect work; God’s work is often sevenfold.

CONCLUSION: What does it take for God to get your attention? One of the signs of spiritual maturity in the life of a Christian is that he learns the lessons from God more quickly as he continues to mature. Are you listening to what God is telling you?
