Honour Your Parents

The Lord shows what is important to him by what he commands us to do. He is 'the Father'—of Israel, of Jesus, of all who trust in his Son. So the way we relate to one another begins at home. This is not just because we are born there but because every other relationship is shaped by how we regard our parents. We need to honour them so as to receive all that God has to give us.
