Family Worship Guide

Memory Verses: Luke 12:12

Day 1: Luke 16:1-8, Rom 14:10, 2 Cor 5:10, and discuss: In light of the Judgment Seat of Christ, how seriously should we take our stand for Christ? How should our motive of service be influenced by our giving an account to Christ? What are some competing desires or allegiances that distract us from considering the reality of our giving an account to Christ?

Day 2: Luke 16:4-7 and discuss: In what way does the unjust stewart model how we should be preparing for the future? Were his actions incidental or intentional? How should our approach be toward our future in eternity? How should your view of assets change in light of your future?

Day 3: Luke 16:9-13, Matt 6:19-21, and discuss: How does our faithful stewardship of earthly treasure speak to our stewardship of eternal treasures? Can there ever be a way to serve God and serve money? Why is that so? What investment do you want to make that will outlast your time on earth? What changes do you need to make for this to happen?
