Marital Foundations Pt 3

Solomon demonstrates how we may regain a close approximation of the original Paradise if we will pay close attention to the dynamics of the marital relationship, especially in the early days of our marriage. He shows us the dynamics of each partner desires & delights in those formative days; & then of how discouragement and dignity must be worked out. Thus, we find the king initiating an enthusiastic relationship, the Shulamite vacillating, then ruminating and ultimately appreciating the power of her personal influence; and how even her own well being hinges upon her determination to maintain the dignity of womanhood. (This is one reason why she continually admonishes the daughters to "not awaken love before its time".)
