Everything in Christ

He did not die for the pretensions of the morally elite. He died for men and women because if He did not die for them they would die for themselves. He died for us because of our sins so that because of our sins we would not have to die. He took our hell so that we may take His heaven. This has nothing to do with your standing in this world. It has everything to do with your standing before God. And so God finds the person stripped bare of every pretense of greatness… the person who has come to nothing before Him... and to that person God gives them everything; everything that is in Jesus Christ. This is a study of the chronological progress of Christ as wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption in the Christian's life.
