God's Absolute & Universal Sovereignty

We are in the latter part of God's Redemptive History.
So, what will it do to us to know God's Sovereignty, which is really absolute & Universal?
If God is "in control", what will be the church's ministry-with respect to missionaries and "being sent" to continue, expand and even to finalized the gathering of the elects to the universal and mystical body of Christ, which is the CHURCH?
Not only the "latter part" but this is the Climax of God's Redemption, for Christ has already fulfilled this promise.
