Beware of Thinking You Can't Mess Up

The first sin in the world is the worst sin in the world and it shows its ugly face this Sunday in Mark 14:27-31. The Lord is walking to the Garden of Gethsemane and He informs His men that they are about to FALL, FAIL, and FREAK OUT. Each one of them is about to abandon Christ as He faces His greatest trial. Peter [and the disciples] say NO WAY. Peter asserts [in his PRIDE] that he will never leave, never deny, and never fail the Lord in this manner – He’s willing to go to jail, even to die for Christ. Reminding all of us who love Christ to BEWARE OF THINKING YOU CAN’T MESS UP.
