Til He Appears

While teaching bible at a drug rehab facility. I asked them a question. I asked them, what does being born again mean in their life? This led to a discussion of 1st John 3. What shall we do til He Appears? First, we look at the 2nd coming of Christ. We look at the 2 phases of the second coming. We look at several references concerning the 2nd Coming. Then, we talk about the one that has the hope of the 2nd coming, purifieth himself as He is pure. Notice, the word purifieth. Then, we look at Purifieth Himself. Finally, we look at the process of purification which is 2 fold from Galatians 5. It will be a constant battle, verses 16,17. Then, we look at the need to identify the works of the flesh, v19-21. Then, we see the need to put on the Fruit of the Spirit, remembering it is the fruit of the Spirit. Then again, we ask the question about what it looks like in our lives since we are born again? What shall we do Til He Appears
