No Surprises for Sharing our Savior's Suffering

The fiery trials of suffering are meant to prepare us for Jesus's second coming. They should not surprise us, they should cause us to rejoice, they prove that we are blessed, and they do not give us license to sin. From this we can draw that we should expect suffering, rejoice in our suffering, and understand the basis for biblical blessing.
