I. Jesus is both the door (v. 7; cf. 14:6) and the good shepherd (vv. 11, 14; cf. vv. 2-3).
II. Jesus, our good shepherd, really knows us (vv. 3, 14).
III. Jesus, our good shepherd, leads (v. 3), provides (v. 9), and protects us (vv. 10-13).
IV. Jesus, our good shepherd, draws His sheep to Himself (v. 16).
